We got our puppy from Carolina Mini Poodles in October 2024. Louie is a mini red poodle and is healthy and has a great temperament. He is so smart; house training and crate training were easy. He came to us well socialized and is great around my children. He’s the perfect size - we asked for the largest in the litter and we got exactly that. This was my first time buying from a breeder (and getting a poodle) as my prior dogs were rescues. Katherine was so responsive and helpful throughout the process. We love our Louie and I highly recommend Carolina Mini Poodles!

Katherine is an amazing breeder, I was nervous about buying a small dog and the barking factor Also my daughter had bought a mini bernadoodle which he ended up being 90 lbs and we wanted a dog to travel with. Katherine assured us that our dog would be under the 20lb requirement for flying and a year later GIGi is, she is loving calm smart and there is not one person that comes into my home and want a dog just like her. Katherine is so attentive as a breeder and truly loves her dogs. A puppies first interaction with their mother and carer is so important in life and I feel this is why we have such a loving dog. Katherine is very meticulous reg the health of her dogs which is very important when purchasing a puppy. It gives me great pleasure to let others know about Katherine and Carolina Mini Poodles. I am so lucky to have Rose, almost 4, and Ruby, 1.5 y.o.. They both came to me in excellent health and quickly adapted to their new home. I truly admire how meticulous Katherine is with her breeding program and the socialization process that had already taken place before they became a part of our family. In addition, Katherine takes great care in matching her puppies with their prospective new families. I am a pediatrician and so happy to be able to take my “puppies” to work with me every day. It is a real win for us, them, and my patients. Having the sweet little dogs in my office sets the children at ease, especially after they get shots. Both of my dogs have wonderful, calm temperaments. They are comfortable with people of all ages and behavior. I love it when a young child can sit in a chair with one of the dogs and read to them.

If you’ve been considering bringing one of these babies home, I encourage you to do it! Our sweet Miss Frankie (toy) was so well socialized already when we got her, and slept through the first night in her crate 10p-6a at 8wks. We couldn’t believe it! Definitely a sign of a very skilled and intentional breeder. Katherine cares more about the puppies than anything else. We LOVED this about her, she genuinely wants the best fit for everyone and isn’t afraid to ask questions to ensure that happens. I’m so proud to be able to say my puppy is from Carolina Mini Poodles!

Carolina Mini Poodles (Luka Kennel) is such a great breeder. She never spares any costs taking care of her dogs and puppies. All the genetic health testing she does is above and beyond any other breeder I had been researching.
The time she puts into her puppies truly makes all the difference. They are kept so clean and she exposes them to all types of things. They are bathed and groomed so they’re used to it when you get them. So well socialized and her wonderful kids play with them outside and with tunnels and other things to stimulate them.
They are always given attention and so much affection. She even starts them with their potty training. All of these things make for a wonderful, smart, loving, and most importantly HEALTHY puppy. My Vet commented on all of these things. Sansa gives me hugs 🤗 she’s so sweet. She slept through the night right a way and was a dream to house train! She was good for the groomer which is key with a poodle.
Kathy is kind and understanding and takes her time talking to you. Sansa is beautiful and her coat is so soft.she looks and fells like velvet. She has never had any health issues and she will be 2 soon. Her color is stunning and she’s actually getting darker as she gets older.
I highly recommend them! I consider Kathy a friend and I know I will get another one from her in the future. You bring home a little family member that will bring you so much joy, and a breeder who will support you any time you need them. Couldn’t ask for more ❤️❤️❤️

I can’t say enough about Carolina Mini Poodles and their amazing Pups. We’ve had our little Mini “BeauBlu” Poodle exactly one year today. Beaublu has been the best edition to our family. He is one of the most affectionate and cuddly dogs I've ever had! He is super intelligent which made training and spoiling so easy for us. He’s has an extremely calm temperament, eager to please and loves to play ball. If he has his way he would be by our side all of the time. He’s the perfect size for us and has the softest most beautiful black coat. I've gotten so many compliments of how beautiful he is & that his coat feels like silk.

Carolina Mini Poodles are not only professional, they are very caring, loving, and make sure their puppies are settled into good homes. We believe in Katherine and in who she is. I highly recommend Luka poodles! I can’t say enough good things about Katherine. Her love and care for her pups is evident from the very first moment and continues well past adoption (stays in contact). We received our pup in June 2024. He was extremely socialized and in excellent health upon adoption. Our veterinarian and many others noted how well our pup was taken care of by Katherine and her entire family. I did lots of research on many breeders before selecting Luka poodles to ensure my family received the best pup available and we are certainly not disappointed. Our Cosmo is a beautiful, calm and healthy family member. We love our “Cosmo”.
